DON'T TAKE GHANIANS FOR FOOLS, YOU  ARE HEARTLESS PRESIDENT MAHAMA

Just as the many previous promises of President Mahama to end the current power crisis(Dumsor) through the previous Electricity Bill increments which has attributed to a nothing but a worse of it now, President Mahama has again promised of an end to the dumsor through another increment in the electricity bill which is supposed to take effect from Monday, 14th December, 2015.

I don't know why President Mahama will continuously take Ghanaians for granted, continuously lie to us and pack us with more burden but at end give us a zero result.

Currently, despite President Mahama and his friends enjoying happily the nation's resources, the majority of Ghanaians of which I'm inclusive are suffering from the many burdens through taxes, collapse of jobs, non employment, low cedi value, a scrap of all subsidizes and allowances, high tuition fees and others which he has pushed on us, yet President Mahama out of wickedness will still want to further heighten the suffering of us through another heartless electricity bill increment through a reason of a lie because of the previous increment with same reason which never bore its fruits.

Just like the many sad, sorrowful but very angry and bitter Ghanaian voices out there, I will want to tell President Mahama that we won't pay the increment, we are tired of his punishment of us for our no wrong doing, we are tired of the curse he has become for us as Ghanaians, we are tired of his continuous lies to end dumsor, we are tired of his continous blackmail of us with dumsor, we are tired of him as our President, We are just tired.

ARE SOME PEOPLE MORE SPECIAL IN THE SIGHT OF GOD?

I have always wondered if some people are more special in the eyes of God and as a result are occasionally given special treatment by God as and when God sees it fit.

Through a research in the Bible[Old Testament - New Testament(before the death of Christ)], I have come to the conclusion that some people are indeed more special to God.

With respect to this issue, I have seen lots of examples in the Bible with some of them being;

A. David and the temple's food scenario

B. Jacob and Esau’s scenario

C. Mary, Elizabeth, Zacharias' scenario

4. Abraham, Sarah and the two king’s scenario

But due to some constraints, I will use the Abraham, Sarah and the two kings scenario to prove this assumption of mine.

Before I start my analysis, I will like to furnish my readers with this Knowledge.

Note: Aside Abraham and Sarah being couples, they were also siblings (same father but different mothers)

* SIN (LIE)

A) Abraham and Sarah LIED to the king of Egypt, Pharaoh and king of Gerar, king Abimelech on different occasions that they are only siblings and not couples.

Note: they lied because Abraham feared that, because of the beauty of his wife, Sarah, they might kill him to take her

B. Sarah lied to the Lord that she didn't doubt Him when she heard the Lord tell Abraham that she will give birth in a year's time despite their very old age.

Abraham also doubted the Lord when God told him that Sarah will bear him a child in a year's time

(Abraham: 100yrs, Sarah: 90yrs)

* THE CONTROVERSY

A. Abraham and Sarah got BLESSED despite their sin(lie) while the two kings got PUNISHED for taking Sarah as their wife despite their only knowledge of Sarah was that, Sarah was only a sister to Abraham.

Note: the two kings took in Sarah as their wife with no evil intention or by the use of force

B. Sarah and Abraham got BLESSED with a child in a year's time despite their doubt of the Lord's message

* GOD'S REASON FOR PUNISHING THE TWO KINGS

God's reason for punishing the two kings was that, they took the wife of a Prophet(Abraham) despite God's Knowledge that Abraham lied to these two kings that Sarah was only a sister to him.

* LESSON LEARNT

God is always right. Never touch the prophets, the eyes of God even in their sins and in your good because most of them are very special in the eyes of God and you can never win the battle against them even when you present their sin before God or when you are right and they are wrong.

* HOW ONE ATTAINS THIS FAVOUR OF GOD

Some people are automatically born with it while others attain it though their please of God

Critical Thinkers International are happy about the recent concerns being expressed by Government and the general public on the 116 intra-city Metro Mass Transit buses which are meant for the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) purposes saga.

Some of these concerns are;

1. The recent resignation by the Minister of Transportation, Hon. Dzifa Attivor.

2. The call by some Ghanaians on the Attorney General and Minister for Justice to prosecute Hon. Dzifa Attivor and Selassie Ibrahim, CEO of Smartyys Production and Management and wife of Ibrahim Adam, a former Minister for Agriculture under the Rawlings Administration.

3. The task of the Attorney General and Minister for Justice by Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff to retrieve 1.9 million Ghana Cedis from Smartyys Production and Management

As we initially stated, we are happy but we also must say that we are not fully satisfied with some of the decisions especially our third point and below are our reasons for our dissatisfaction;

The order of the Attorney General by the Chief of Staff to retrieve only 1.9 million Ghana cedis as determined in the report as the excess payment made for the service rendered means 1.7 million Ghana Cedis is what is been determined by Government to have been used for the rebranding of all the buses after their investigation through the Attorney General's Department.

Critical Thinkers International find this very wrong and misleading.

Note, assuming the 1.7 million being quoted by the Government is right then it means each of the buses costed 14,655 Ghana Cedis, which is certainly very outrageous, impossible and also contrary to the claims by Kwaku Abeiku, the manager of Crystal Concept, the company which actually did the rebranding of the 116 buses.

According to Kweku Abeiku, they charged 1,000 Ghana Cedis for each bus and a total of 116,000 Ghana Cedis for all the buses, so where from this huge new rebranding cost from Government?

Meaning going by the exact rebranding cost as claimed by Kwaku Abeiku, Government will have to retrieve an additional 1.5 million Ghana Cedis aside the 1.9 million Ghana cedis to make a total of 3.4 million Ghana cedis from Smartyys Production and Management for Ghanaians

We believe 3.4 million Ghana cedis can do a lot to help the deprived in society and so, we hope the Government will heed to our just request for the sake and benefit of the many suffering in society.

KARPOWER AND AMERI DEALS ARE ECONOMICALLY IMPRUDENT AND FRAUDULENT

KARPOWER AND AMERI DEALS ARE ECONOMICALLY IMPRUDENT AND FRAUDULENT

As good citizens of Ghana, we have followed the AMERI and Karpower deals with keen interest.

We have read most of the critcisms and defences in relation to these deals from Government, Opposition Parties and Civil Society Organisations when they cropped up and we have come to the conclusion that, these two deals are economically imprudent and fraudulent.

Our settlement on these being fraudulent and economically imprudent after our careful analysis of statements issued from all angles on these issues are as below;

Two very wealthy countries, Egypt and Abu Dhabi especially in a comparison with Ghana are each constructing 1800MW and 1600MW Power Plants respectively at an average cost of $1.4 billion each while the AMERI deal and the Karpower together are getting Ghana only 500MW at an estimated price of close to $2 billion.

Secondly, checks from the AMERI deal shows that, AMERI as the third party in this deal is doing nothing to earn a payment since METKA as the second party is doing the procurement of the 10 Gas Power Plants from the manufacturer, General Electrical (GE)  in addition to the engineering, construction, building, operations and maintenance of the Power Plants all at a total cost (with profit) of not more than $350million (payable in 5 years).

Meaning there is an excess of $160 million dollars from the stated $510 million cost of the 10 Gas Power plants by Government being kept by AMERI for a no job done, unless there is a job being done by AMERI Group to merit this $160 million which might be known to Government but unknown to us.

We are as a result of the above saddened at why President Mahama and his NDC led Government could still be this continously heartless to Ghanaians after his already push of Ghana into this current bad economic conditions.
