NPP, DR. BAWUMIA'S CALL WAS AN AFRICAN CALL AND NOT TRIBAL - CRITICAL THINKERS TELL NDC AND PROF. KPATCHA OF TOGO

ARTICLE: NPP, DR. BAWUMIA'S CALL WAS AN AFRICAN CALL AND NOT TRIBAL  - CRITICAL THINKERS TELL NDC  AND PROF. KPATCHA  OF TOGO. - BY ZEPHANIAH MAGNUS PONGO
One of the principles of good democratic governance is clean electoral register. The clean nature of African electoral register will promote free and fair election.
Africa, as a continent have not upheld to this democratic principles to promote youth development, national development and general well being of African citizens .
Hence, hunger, poverty, unemployment, suffering, poor health condition, poor education and weak economy and among others.

The deep roots of Africa's under-development can largely be attributed to our poor electoral systems which defines and elect who becomes the President to champion our developmental agenda.
One may ask, Why am I saying this??,
Leaders who are beneficiaries of an incredible electoral system tend to be insensitive to the plights of its citizenry knowing that they have a mechanism to perpetuate their stay on office.
The NPP  through DR.Bawumia's call was therefore a clarion call to uphold to CLEAN ELECTORAL REGISTER to promote socio- economic development and total well being of African citizens  and for that matter, Ghana.
The call is not and should not be seen as a tribal one as it is forcibly been portrayed by NDC's GENERAL SECRETARY ASIEDU NKETIA of Ghana and PROF PKATCHA of Togo who clearly misunderstood clean electoral register is, and its statistical relevance to good democratic governance and socio- economic development of Africa.
DR.BAWUMIA'S STATISTICAL CLAIM.
The call by Dr. Bawumia should strictly be analysed on it's statistical merit.
A critical analysis of the 2010 population census of Ghana's figures when juxtaposed with the compilation of the electoral register figures gives some credence to Bawumia's claims.
It is noteworthy that,  per census report,  it was only the Western Region that recorded the highest migration figures due to a boost in economic activities which was largely attributed to discovery of Oil Fields. However most of the emigrants where Foreigners who are not eligible voters.
It is therefore baffling to get huge difference in the number of registered voters when compared with census figures in just two years.
Let's use these samples from Bawumia's presentation to buttress this claim.
Ketu South : 98,283 - 126,751.
Hohoe: 94,477 - 134,365.
Nkwanta North : 29,233- 44,533.
Ga West: 109,530- 173,767.
Adenta: 60,859- 90,507.
Gomoa east:, 55,536- 85,142.
Ewutu senya: 97,870- 144,867 and
Nzema east : 32,183- 41,697. (Just to mention a few)

NB: the Figures on the LHS represent population figures and RHS represent voter register figures.

The above statistical evidence presented by Dr. Bawumia, cuts across the nation and therefore has nothing to do with tribal sentiments as forcefully portrayed by Asiedu Nketia  and his Togolese counterpart who simply misunderstood the statistical relevance of migration per electoral reforms as a key to good democratic principles and good governance which is  missing in Africa's democracy.
PROFESSOR KPATCHA OF TOGO.
NPP in its statistical analysis ruled out migration. Because it was found to be  inconsistent with statistical data of our housing and population census and statistical data of our electoral register. The western region, recorded the highest migration. But this was not reflected in the electoral record to large extent. This makes Prof. Kpatcha ans Asiedu Nketiah' case base on migration inconsistent with NPP's statiscal evidence.
NDC GENERAL SECRETARY AND PROFESSOR KPATCHA OF TOGO.
It is alleged that, the Asiedu Nketia and Prof Kpatcha of Togo are the beneficiaries of this an incredible electoral systems in their respective countries which enables them to remain in power and wield political influence due to the following reasons;

1. The NDC GENERAL SECRETARY alone hold unto BUI DAM PROJECT calling for it privatization so that he can have full access to it as personal property.this strategic asset of Ghana can be managed by first class engineers of Ghana to bring relief to our people and Africa.

2. Prof Kpatcha's government of Togo is also claiming the ownership of Togo's  PHOSPHATE RESERVE DEPOSIT as personal property.
Because they came into power through electoral register fraud so they can continue to do that and milk the nation.
CONCLUSION
We need clean electoral register as a clear credentials for good democratic governance of promoting socio-economic development and general well being of African citizens.

AFRICAN CITIZENS ARE CRYING FOR GOOD DEMOCRATIC GOVERNANCE TO PROMOTE THEIR WELL BEING
LONG LIVE AFRICA
LONG LIVE GHANA
LONG LIVE CRITICAL THINKERS.
