NPP MUST PUT THEIR HOUSE TO ORDER FIRST BEFORE THEY SEEK GHANAIANS MANDATE...

Critical Thinkers International have observed with a sense of empathy the unending development in the New Patriotic Party; Ghana's largest opposition party in the 4th Republic,  which is characterized by factionalism,  bickering,  man-haunting,  byzantine violence and cronyism in the party.

Political watchers who have followed occurrences in NPP in the past two years can only conclude that the party keeps deteriorating by the day as their chances of being competitive in upcoming elections in 2016 is on the decline.

We wouldn't want to rehash incidences in the party that leads us to arrive at this conclusion because the evidences are boldly written on the walls.

We us a political and policy think thank that expresses the views of the larger populace are particularly concerned due to the need to have a more formidable opposition party in our political discourse that is able to offer good alternative and hope in times of distress among the citizenry.

We are therefore calling on the rank and file of the NPP to PUT THEIR HOUSE IN ORDER BEFORE THEY SEEK THE MANDATE OF GHANAIANS.

Our call is borne from the fact that NPP is promising hope for the people of Ghana as
they profess that it is time to change the "INCOMPETENT MAHAMA/NDC GOVERNMENT" but the NPP is failing to recognize the fact that,  one characteristic of a "COMPETENT ALTERNATIVE" is their ability to manage people.

Ghanaians are more skeptical about the hope the NPP is promising because happenings in the party even in opposition may become worst when they come into power. Some people ask rhetorically, if they can't manage their party and uphold the dictates of their party's constitution, how can they manage the whole of Ghana and uphold our 1992 Constitution. .???

This perception is leading most people into a state of despair and pessimism which may reflect in higher voter apathy in 2016 elections.

It is also more prudent that the NPP puts it's house in order before the end of January 2016 because they have a fierce battle with an NDC government in power which looks more united, focused and ready to capitalize on incumbency advantage.

The truth be told that the onus lies on the leaders of NPP and the flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to embark on a reconciliation mission of all factions and stakeholders within the party to build a more United front for the battle in 2016 or they should wake up from the slumber of winning election 2016.

Ghanaians are not ready to trade off their sovereignty to a party whose future is so uncertain.

Thank you.
