AMENFI WEST BY-ELECTION(NDC UNDERPERFORMED) ; MY OBSERVATION

AMENFI WEST BY-ELECTION(NDC UNDERPERFORMED) ; MY OBSERVATION

In totality, the election results went in favour of NPP eventhough the NDC retained the seat.

Note, NPP managed to close the votes difference by 6,879 votes and that is a move from a difference of 9,606 in the 2012 election to 2,727 now

The voter turn up decreased from 44,769 (74.53%) of its registered voters in the constituency to 30,030 (49.5%) meaning the voter turn up decreased by 14,739.

Some are with the view that the reduction in the electorates' turn up favoured NPP and it will not go in favour of NPP if they all vote in the 2016 elections.

This is a totally wrong analysis from my opinion, rather it only showed how sad and dissatisfied the people of Amenfi West are with the mismanagement and incompetence of Ghana under NDC/President Mahama led government and as a result, the unbearable state of their lives.

Note, just like how majority of Ashantis or Akyems or Kwahu or some specific tribes in the Northern Region will vote for NPP or decide completely not to vote but will never vote for NDC no matter what, the majority of the Wassa people of which the Amenfi West Constituency falls under, like the majority of people in the Volta Region or some tribes in the Northern Region also only vote for NDC or completely not vote but never for NPP because of their silent but loud disagreements with the Ashantis as a result of what they mostly term as the "Ashanti pride".
As a result, anytime they get dissatisfied with the NDC through an action of the NDC which either angers or gets them sad, out of emotions, they only stay off from voting and thereby a creation Vote Apathy just like what happened in Volta Region in 2000 and Ashanti region in 2008

Note, During the Talensi By-Elections this year, under this same economic conditions (Local and International Experts have described it as a flop, failure and disgrace) under President Mahama, NPP didn't only lose the Talensi seat but also recorded its worst performance since 2000(A reduction and also a lose of more than 2,000 of its votes to the NDC.
It as a result shows that this Amenfi West By Election results is a very good one in favour of NPP and I strongly believe the NPP managed to reap it due to one or all of the reasons below;
A. The people of Amenfi West now see NPP as a good alternative
B. The strength of NPP to suspend any disrespecter of its constitution as against its weakness to manage its party and crack the whip on its members during the period of the Talensi By-Election
C. The people of Amenfi west having a direct impact of the mismanagement of NDC/President Mahama
D.  The People of Amenfi West, other towns, smaller towns and villages getting access to all or majority of the information’s on the mismanagements of NDC/President Mahama and as a result making them aware of the main reason behind the current hardships they are going through as a people.

Lastly, it must be made clear that NPP also suffered a little Vote Apathy by its dropped of 3,750 votes to itself as compared to the votes it recorded in the 2012 election(From 16,829 in 2012 to 13,079 now),
Which I believe it was due to the constant ridicule, tarnish of the party's image in the media by its own members
